Your grease traps are designed to retain the fats, grease, and oil from your kitchen wastewater and prevent them from entering the sewer or septic system.
The environmental impact of poorly maintained grease traps has caused significant problems for municipal water pretreatment facilities. This has led to new regulations and increased enforcement actions for violators.
Properly maintained grease traps eliminate costly permanent damage and clogged line cleaning. It also ensures your organization meets all regulatory requirements.
HOW IT WORKS:
The contents of the grease are pumped into the tank of the truck
High pressure water is used to remove any excess grease that clings to the sides of the traps
The excess grease is then transported back to our facility for processing. Using a polymer to solidify the grease. The grease is then dewatered through filter screens leaving only dry matter behind
The excess water, now properly treated, can be released as regular wastewater
